The European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) is the leading platform for the collection, exchange, and dissemination of scientific and industrial know-how in the field of biomass, attracting over 1,300 participants from more than 65 countries. For almost one week new scientific and technical breakthroughs will be presented, sustainability will be assessed and the framework for the best exploitation of biomass discussed. This year the event will be hosted in Lisbon, Portugal, from 27th to 30th May 2019. The EUBCE Conference programme us coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Center.
The event is supported by European and international organizations such as the the European Commission, UNESCO – United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Natural Sciences Sector, WCRE – the World Council for Renewable Energy, EUBIA – the European Biomass Industry Association, CEI – The Central European Initiative, FNR – Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe, GBEP – Global Bioenergy Partnership, and other organisations.
