European Biogas Association (EBA): The European Biogas Association (EBA) is a Brussels based non-profit organisation that promotes the deployment of sustainable biogas and biomethane production and the use from anaerobic digestion (AD) and biomass gasification in Europe. EBA’s membership gathers national biogas and biomethane associations, institutes and companies from 26 countries all across Europe. EBA unites a large number of the most experienced biogas and biomethane experts in Europe and has highly experienced and skilled staff providing policy advice, know-how and information to promote beneficial legislation and framework conditions in the related field.
European Renewable Energies Federation (EREF): EREF is the federation of national renewable energy associations from EU Member States, representing sectors such as wind, solar, small hydro, bio-energy, tidal, wave, and geothermal. Its objective is to defend the interests of independent power, fuel and heat production from renewable sources and to promote non discriminatory access to the energy market. EREF is striving to create, maintain and further develop stable and reliable framework conditions for renewable energy sources.
European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources (EUFORES): EUFORES is a European cross-party network with members from the European Parliament as well as from the EU28 national and regional Parliaments. Its core objective is the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency. The organisation has a comprehensive institutional network at EU and national level, and is one of the driving forces in the RES sector. EUFORES serves as a communication platform for exchanging information and expertise, bringing relevant stakeholders together to promote RES in the European Union and to transform best practice into coherent renewable energy legislation for Europe.
European Compost Network (ECN): The European Compost Network is the leading European membership organisation promoting sustainable recycling practices in composting, anaerobic digestion and other biological treatment processes of organic resources. Its is to work with practitioners, researchers, technicians and policy makers to deliver integrated organic waste recycling solutions that generate high quality products for the benefit of the environment and the users of the recycled products. It serves as central resource and network for the organic waste recycling sector in Europe, as well as the emerging bio-based economy.
Natural and bio Gas Vehicle Association (NGVA Europe): NGVA Europe, the Natural & bio Gas Vehicle Association, promotes the use of natural gas and biomethane as an automotive fuel. The organisation represents leading companies and associations from Europe involved in natural gas and biomethane as a vehicle fuel, including manufacturers of vehicles and components, gas suppliers and gas distributors.
International Energy Agency-Bioenergy (IEA Bioenergy): IEA Bioenergy is an organisation set up in 1978 by the International Energy Agency (IEA) with the aim of improving cooperation and information exchange between countries that have national programmes in bioenergy research, development and deployment.
European Biomass Association (AEBIOM): The European Biomass Association (AEBIOM) is the common voice of the bioenergy sector with the aim to develop a sustainable bioenergy market based on fair business conditions in Europe. AEBIOM is a non profit Brussels based international organisation founded in 1990 that brings together 29 national associations and around 90 companies from all over Europe thus representing more than 4000 indirect members including mainly companies and research centers. AEBIOM holds a strong position representing all bioenergy sectors and has a unique possibility to influence European policies, communications and various other EU papers.
