Description: Winteringham is a parish within North Lincolnshire with a population of  approximately 1000 residences. The UK ISABEL team canvassed North Lincolnshire parish councils and the Winteringham parish council responded positively to the teams presentation about the potential of community energy projects designed around waste management and biogas.

Main actions so far:

The UK ISABEL team canvassed the forty-eight parish councils in North Lincolnshire with the request for the opportunity to present the project at the regular parish council meetings.

• The Winteringham parish council invited the UK team to attend a meeting and offer a presentation.
• The presentation was well received and since the UK team have started to work with council to lay the ground for a community wide workshop

Next steps:

The UK team will continue to work with the parish council to prepare promotional material  so as to canvas the Winteringham community.
